This book was firstly devised as a sensory experience:
in terms of texture (smooth paper, grainy paper, embossings)

and in the spatial experience of reading — it must be rotated several times for its text to be read from A to Z.

From this latter perspective, it is more generally designed to facilitate a connection between the child and the reading adult:
requiring from the rotating reader these moving movements, unexpected to the child,

the book,
while offering a 💯/💯 completed baby-oriented narrative,
keeps some specific zones away from baby’s understanding.

In my baby opinion, the child distinguishing the adult’s experience as differing from their own,
is precisely what may allow a desire for communication to be established.

There are different types of people.
From the acknowledgement of this, mystery emerges;
some babies will look for the key to that treasure box –
some will talk, some will observe,
other babies will dribble.
There are different types of toddlers.
