I imagined this book as a primarily sensory experience:
in terms of texture (smooth paper, grainy paper, embossings)
and in the spatial experience of reading — the book must be rotated several times for its text to be read from A to Z.

From this last point of view, it is more generally thought as enabling a connection between the child and the reading adult:
it forces the reader to gestures unexpected to the child,
and while offering a completed baby-oriented narrative,
keeps some specific zones away from their understanding.

In my baby opinion, the child distinguishing the adult’s experience as differing from their own,
is precisely what may allow a desire for communication to be established.

There are different types of people.
From the acknowledgement of this, mystery emerges;
some babies will look for the key to that treasure box –
some will talk and some will watch,
other babies will dribble.
There are different types of toddlers.
